Thunder Bay — Thunder Bay Buskers Festival Returns for 11th Year July 25-26 — is making headlines this week, bringing important news to residents across the region and beyond.
The Bay and Alma District will once again be lined up with entertainment this coming July. Organizers of the 11th annual Buskers Festival held a launch event this past week. This year’s Busker Fest will have 50 craft vendors, 10 food vendors, and endless local, national, and international performers. The free event is aimed at bringing the community together while also supporting local businesses and tourism. Last year’s festival attracted several thousand people.
Local leaders are encouraging residents to stay engaged with community news, noting that informed citizens are the backbone of a healthy democracy.
“Thunder Bay residents have always shown they care about what happens in their city,” said a regional commentator. “This story is no exception.”
