About Thunder Bay Online
Thunder Bay Online is a locally operated directory, marketplace and local guide serving Thunder Bay, Ontario and the surrounding Northwestern Ontario communities. Our goal is simple: to make it easier for residents and visitors to discover the best local businesses, real deals and trustworthy recommendations in one place.
Unlike generic national directories, every business and guide on this site is researched and curated by a team based in Thunder Bay. We list real, operating local businesses with verified addresses, phone numbers and up-to-date details, so you can find what you need without wasting time on outdated or inaccurate listings.
What we do
- Local business directory: A browsable collection of restaurants, shops, services and professionals across Thunder Bay and the region.
- Local guides (“near me”): Original, hands-on guides to the best restaurants, cafés, dentists, plumbers, attractions and more in Thunder Bay — written for locals and visitors alike.
- Deals and offers: A hub for genuine local offers and promotions from Thunder Bay businesses.
Why trust us
Our content is original and independently written. We research each guide using public local sources, business directories and first-hand knowledge of the Thunder Bay area, and we update listings as information changes. We are not affiliated with any single business, which keeps our recommendations honest and helpful.
Thunder Bay Online is operated by a small, local team that lives and works in Thunder Bay. If you own a local business and would like to be listed, or if you spot an error in one of our guides, please reach out through our Contact page — we read every message.
Thank you for supporting local. When you shop and discover local, you help keep Thunder Bay strong.
