The Thunder Bay Law enforcement Service has concluded a drug trafficking probe that resulted in the seizure of illicit drugs and two firearms from two homes on Finlayson Street. Officers from the Emergency Task Unit and Intelligence Unit executed search warrants and seized suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, and two guns with a combined street value of approximately $19,755. A 47-year-old Thunder Bay man, David Cake, is facing multiple charges including possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order, possession of a Schedule 1 substance for trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and careless storage of firearms.
